Open Doors for Black Lives is a new fundraising project created to give back to predominantly Black communities in Detroit and International BIPOC organizations in need of love and support.

This will be an outdoor, social-distanced event featuring a display of my work and an oppurtunity to engage with several creatives who desire to give back to the community ! ( Detroit artist and Wayne State’s MFA Dean’s Diversity Fellow Candidate @caramarieyoung. ) Come listen to amazing sounds by @dj_deadphone , spoken word/open mic poetry with @bootzthepoet in a multi-vendor space.  Food vendors include @monroesweetsllc and @iamlyoness . Amazing herbal infused goodies, tea, and readings by @mrs_vicius_ Beautiful handmade crystal jewelery by @krownjewels And so much more!

50% of all proceeds for this event will be donated to the BTFA Collective and Detroit Will Breathe. This is a unique opportunity to come together and celebrate BIPOC communities while viewing the iconic art installation that is the MBAD African Bead Museum.
